From Býkev, there is a beautiful view of the notable Říp Mountain, approximately 18 km away. The municipality’s planning area also contains the registered significant landscape feature VKP 107 Pískovna Býkev.

History and culture

The monument in Býkev depicts a victorious lion standing on a defeated Habsburg eagle; the names of local residents who fell at the fronts during the First World War are inscribed on its pedestal. During the Second World War, the residents of Býkev hid the Český lev monument underground; after the war, it was raised back onto its pedestal.
