Nature and Landscape

The village lies in the marshy Branžež Basin and is surrounded by forests and rocks. The Kněžmostka stream also rises in Srbsko.

The Sokolka rock massif is approximately 500 meters long and 200 meters wide, has walls up to 40 meters high, and consists of sandstone in various colors. A red-marked trail leads around the impressive Sokolka rock formation near Srbsko. The Srbsko stop is located in a holiday settlement near the well-known Sokolky rock.

History and Culture

Archaeological finds date the origins of Srbsko back to the 13th century. The first written mention of the village dates from 1534. The Chapel of the Virgin Mary in Srbsko dates from 1875.

Srbsko was probably named after the Sorbian colonists, presumably from Lusatia, who founded the settlement.

Routes and Leisure

The 11-kilometer cycling trip in Český ráj leads from Kněžmost to Srbsko. The longer version of the Příhrazy–Branžež circular route reaches Srbsko after 11.5 kilometers and is 16 kilometers long overall.

The Zlatá stezka Českého ráje runs along a 22-kilometer route from Mnichovo Hradiště via Zásadka, Valečov Castle, Drábské světničky, Krásná vyhlídka, Příhrazy, and Srbsko to Kost Castle and Libošovice.

Srbsko has a wide range of leisure facilities. In summer, the village becomes livelier with numerous tourists and cyclists.
