Koryta: Hotels and Accommodations

In the lower part of Koryta, the Chapel of the Seven Maccabean Brothers shapes the local skyline. Built in 1885, the church is a pseudo-Gothic landmark of Koryta. Its carved polychrome altar was created around 1885; together with the chapel’s other wooden furnishings, it is designed in the Neo-Gothic style.

Culture and Local Character

Another distinctive feature is located in the park by the municipal office: a cross dating from 1821 stands there.

In the wider regional surroundings of Koryta is Lysá Mountain. In the immediate vicinity of Koryta are the hill (Hrubý Kus) [Chocnějovice-Sovenice], Slavín Hill [Loukov u Mnichova Hradiště], and the hill (Na Stráni) [Svijanský Újezd].

Events

A traditional open-air theater performance was announced for June 18, 2022, at the children’s playground in Koryta; catering was planned as part of the announced performance. A concert by the group ABBY.cz was announced for August 26, 2022, at the sports field in Koryta.
