Culture and History
The Church of Saint Nicholas stands on a hill at the northern edge of Lískovice, in the middle of the cemetery. The rectangular, single-nave building has a rectangular presbytery and a square vestibule on the west side.
The Lískovice castle site consists of an oval mound with a partially preserved moat near House No. 50. The Lískovice fortification is mentioned in 1357, 1499 and 1551 and had already been abandoned by the second half of the 16th century.
Tereziny Dary was founded in 1777. The gathering of citizens and friends of Tereziny Dary was announced as a traditional event and was scheduled to take place on 19 June 2026.
Nature
Temník Pond near Lískovice covers 13.77 ha and is considered one of the most valuable bird localities in the region. Its shore vegetation consists of 65 % cattails, 25 % reeds and 10 % low littoral vegetation.
The reed beds of Temník Pond were home to a breeding colony of approximately 10 pairs of grey herons on average; up to 3 pairs of western marsh harriers and 8 pairs of black-necked grebes also bred there.
Cycle Routes
A cycling tour through the Chlum Hills runs via Dobrá Voda u Hořic and Lískovice to Loučná Hora. Cycle Route No. 4287 connects Lískovice, Šaplava and Loučná Hora. The 7 km-long Cycle Route No. 4143 runs between Milovice and Domoslavice.
Geographical Location
