Stav is home to the Church of St. Peter and Paul, a Gothic building dating from the mid-14th century in the style of the so-called Luxembourger Gothic. It retains its original ribbed vault and original tracery.

Culture

The church also preserves a stone baptismal font and an epitaph for two daughters of the Lords of Donín dating from the second half of the 16th century. The archaeological site in Stav is classified as a significant archaeological locality.

The fortified area in Stav has an oval inner section surrounded by a continuous ditch and an outer rampart. It was presumably a fortress built entirely of wood.

Nature

The Stav Nature Monument protects an epigenetic stream valley with remnants of original beech forests and a herb layer. The mountains Maxinec (MLázovický chlum), Tábor, Přivýšina and Střelečská hůra are located in the vicinity of Stav.

The Lázně Church is also located in the vicinity of Stav. The Valdštejn Church lies in the wider regional surroundings of Stav.
