Ohařice: Hotels and Accommodation

Ohařice has been known since as early as 1376 and is mentioned in the land registers in 1542. Since the 16th century, Ohařice belonged to Veliš.

Culture

The Chapel of the Holy Trinity is located southwest of Ohařice, by the cemetery on the road to Michalovy Hory. In Ohařice, it is registered as an immovable cultural monument.

Geographical Location

Ohařice was founded in an open landscape unprotected to the northwest. Road I/16 runs along a section between Samšina and Ohařice.

Nature

Dubolka is located 500 to 700 m southwest of Ohařice, in fields south of the Jičín–Sobotka road. The site is more than 250 m from the road, and a walkable tourist trail leads there from the road.

The protected features of Rybník Jíkavec include wet meadows around the pond with rare plants and animals.

Routes and Experiences

Ohařice is part of a transregional riding trail that begins in Vienna, Austria. Equestrian tourism on the riding trail is considered a journey through nature with encounters with local people and other tourists. The regional riding trails are intended to enable visits to historical monuments and other sights in the region.
