Hiking and Cycling

Běluň lies along a 14 km blue-marked hiking route that runs from Jaroměř via Běluň, Krabčice and Chvalkovice to Hořičky. The Pochod okolo Jaroměře is also one of the recurring hiking events; its editions include the 40th on 21 April 2018 and the 46th on 25 April 2026.

The marked cycle route No. 1 also passes through Běluň: it runs from the cemetery complex in Jaroměř via the village, which is 2.5 km from the cemetery. Marked cycle route No. 1 also leads to the Tomašov partisan monument and begins at the cemetery in Jaroměř.

Landscape and Water

The surroundings of Běluň include Betlém Hill [Hřibojedy], Libiny Hill [Jaroměř - Semonice], Poustka Hill [Brzice] and (Borový) Hill [Rožnov].

The Běluňka stream flows towards Běluň, which gives it its present-day name. Below Polcovský dvůr, the Běluňka forms several bends and flows into the Elbe below Heřmanice.

Around the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, many regional authors described the valley along the Běluňka near Běluň as particularly romantic – an assessment handed down from that period.

The Lázně Church is located in the wider regional surroundings of Běluň.
