Lhota Pod Hořičkami: Hotels and Accommodation

Cycle Route 4098 runs through Lhota pod Hořičkami. It connects Choustníkovo Hradiště with Ratibořice via Velká Bukovina and Chvalkovice and can be ridden on all types of bicycles.

Landscape

Part of the Babiččino údolí National Nature Monument lies in the cadastral area of Světlá. Several submontane species have also been observed on the slopes of the Úpa. In the vicinity of Lhota pod Hořičkami are Vinice Hill [Česká Skalice-Malá Skalice] and Poustka Hill [Brzice]. In the wider region are the mountains of Čáp and Jański Wierch.

Activities and Events

The Lhota pod Hořičkami sports complex is available for individual use and can be rented for training camps. The 8th Srandatriatlon was announced for June 13, 2026, at the municipal sports field.

Culture and History

The belfry in Světlá dates from 1764 and has been listed in the Register of Historic Monuments of the Czech Republic since May 3, 1958. Lhota pod Hořičkami is documented in writing as early as 1405; at the same time, it is assumed that agriculture was already practiced there in the 13th or 14th century. In the wider region of Lhota pod Hořičkami is the Lázně Church. Újezdec is home to a brick chapel with a bell tower dating from 1863.
