Havlovice: Hotels and accommodations

Vízmburk is located in the cadastral area of Havlovice in the Trutnov District. The early Gothic castle ruins stand on a rocky promontory above the Úpa River; guided tours with historical commentary are offered at Vízmburk, and events focusing on the Middle Ages are held there regularly.

Culture and history

Hejnův statek is also one of the town's protected cultural sites: The farmstead is protected as an immovable cultural monument and has been under heritage protection since May 3, 1958.

Leisure and trails

The Havlovice sports complex has two multi-purpose courts with artificial surfaces, a 14-hole mini-golf course, and a children's playground with several attractions. It is located between the Úpa River and the cycle path to Ratibořice.

Nature and trails

The lime tree in Havlovice was first placed under protection on February 14, 2002. The forest paths to Vízmburk are challenging because of the difference in elevation and the natural terrain.
