History
The first documented reference to Lánov dates from 1355. West of Horní Lánov lies the Křížová cesta Stations of the Cross. The original Stations of the Cross consisted of fourteen stone chapels depicting the Stations of the Cross; the stations were repaired in 2011.

At the “Rodinná farma Teri” farm in Horní Lánov, children and adults can go horseback riding. Beginners can take lessons there for a fee; children can ride guided horses.
