Culture

The Frýdecká Basilica is the only church in its diocese to hold the papal title of Basilica minor. It has attracted pilgrims since the 17th century.

The exhibition “Beskydy - nature and people” explores the connection between nature and human activity. The exhibition “Frýdek and Místek” presents Frýdek-Místek as two cities and, at the same time, one city.

Nature and trails

The “Bludné balvany” educational trail is a reminder of the Ice Age and leads through Frýdecký Forest. The Místecký Circuit is a signposted, 9.7-kilometre-long and easy-to-manage cycle route; it starts and ends at the Olešná Reservoir in Frýdek-Místek.

Skate rental for the IN-LINE trail is located next to the Olešná car campsite.

Culinary experiences

The MARLENKA visitor tour includes a tasting of a selection of products, including MARLENKA® café, and offers an insight into the production of Marlenka honey products. The MARLENKA tour lasts approximately 70 minutes.
