A prominent historical feature of Neplachovice is its château. The present-day Neplachovice Château was built between 1837 and 1840 at a new location on the so-called Holasovické field. It is considered the only authentically preserved Empire-style château in the Opava region; exhibitions are currently held in the château.
History and Culture
The Church of St. John also reaches far back into the past: its existence in Neplachovice is documented as early as 1257. The establishment of Neplachovský Mill dates back to the first half of the 16th century. The original Neplachovice château complex included an English-style park.
Nature
The landscape includes the Heraltický Stream, a meandering watercourse with oxbow channels. The Heraltický Stream natural monument extends across the cadastral area of Neplachovice and protects a wetland biotope of high landscape value. The protected area contains regularly flooded wet meadows.
