The permanent exhibition “Jak se žilo v Ójezdě” focuses on the history of the village. The most significant landmark of Horní Újezd is the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, first mentioned in 1408.

Mezicestí [Horní Nětčice] is a hill in the vicinity of Horní Újezd. Kelčský Javorník and Holý vrch are mountains in the surrounding area. Further afield in the region are Lešná Chateau, the ruins of Lukov Castle, Kopřivná Mountain, and Holešov Castle Park.
Events and Cycling
The second edition of the Langošová drakiáda was announced as a family event at the sports ground in Horní Újezd. Langoš, French fries, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic draught beverages were announced as available.
The “Májový cyklovýlet” was announced as an approximately 65 km bike ride from Horní Lideč back to Horní Újezd. For this bike ride, a bicycle bus operated by TJ Sokol Ústí was scheduled to depart for Horní Lideč from the “Luža” water reservoir at 8:30 a.m.
