Milenov: Hotels and accommodation

Milenov is located in the natural landscape of the Moravian Gate, at the foot of Mount Uhřínov and along the Milenovec stream. The landscape and local history are closely intertwined here.

Culture and history

The chapel in Milenov was built between 1897 and 1902. The chapel in Milenov village square was recently reconstructed. Until 1867, Milenov had a wooden bell tower. The village was first mentioned in 1353. A sandstone monument bearing the names of the fallen residents of Milenov was erected in their memory. In 1543, the historical administrative affiliation changed from the Drahotuše estate to the Hranice estate.

Cycling route 6060 leads from Milenov via Drahotuše to Hranice and is 7.0 kilometres long.

Events

Events known as “Milenovské cákání” take place at the small water reservoir above the village of Milenov.
