Cycling routes
Two designated cycling routes pass through Rakůvka: “Z Konice za Ochozskou kyselkou” and “Za větrnými mlýny okolo Konice”. Both routes pass through the village and connect Rakůvka with different themes of the regional cycling network.
Nature
The entire cadastral area of Rakůvka is surrounded by mixed forests. The picturesque Kyselka Valley borders the southeastern edge of the cadastral area; its mineral water provides refreshment for people from the surrounding area as well as for tourists and cyclists.
The Horka hill is located near Rakůvka. The Skalky and Skály hills are situated in the wider regional surroundings.
Culture
The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is a protected monument, is considered a landmark of Rakůvka, and was extensively renovated in 2012.
The local annual calendar includes a Mother’s Day celebration, which always takes place on the second Saturday in May. A cultural program by local children, flowers, and refreshments are planned. On Christmas Eve, Rakůvka features a Christmas radio broadcast and the playing of Christmas carols.
The surroundings of Rakůvka also include the Pomník obětem 1. a 2. světové války memorial, the Kaple sv. Anny chapel, the Kostel sv. Andělů strážných church, the Kostel Navštívení Panny Marie church, and the Mariánská zahrada park.
