Černíkovice: Hotels and Accommodation
Černíkovice reveals itself through tangible traces of history, architectural heritage, and landscape.
Historical Traces
The first written mention of Černíkovice dates from 1250. Initially, Černíkovice belonged to Plasy Monastery. In 1346, Abbot Jakub from Plasy Monastery transferred the village to Mach. Around 1546, Černíkovice came into the possession of Florián Gryspek; in 1623, the village once again came into the possession of Plasy Monastery.
Chapel and Club History
The Chapel of Saint Procopius was built in 1880 in the part of Černíkovice called Na vršku. Its structure has a semicircular apse and a small roof turret. After 1990, the chapel was renovated and reconsecrated; it is also listed among the cultural monuments.
The local cultural history also includes the Kollár club, which was founded on 20 May 1923. Until its dissolution on 14 March 1939, it performed 30 plays in Černíkovice and the surrounding area.
Landscape and Trails
Near Černíkovice lies Homole, a small grove with a pond on a slightly elevated site belonging to Dřevce. In clear weather, Homole offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
In the broader regional context, the Kralovicko microregion features a gently hilly, densely forested landscape, a dense network of marked hiking trails, and several educational trails. A blue-marked hiking route also passes through Černíkovice.
The Všehrdský potok stream flows through Černíkovice and rises above the village.
