Chodská Lhota: Hotels and Accommodation

Chodská Lhota is one of the eleven oldest Chod villages listed in a document issued by King John of Luxembourg on March 16, 1325. The history of the village also includes the well-known uprising in which Chodská Lhota took part and which was suppressed in 1693.

History and Village Character

The monument to the victims of the First World War is located on the village square in Chodská Lhota.

In the middle of the village square stands the Chapel of St. Wenceslas in a location sensitive to the village character. It was built in the pseudo-Gothic style at the end of the 19th century and has narrow, tall windows and an entrance portal with a pointed arch.

Nature

The Německá hora nature monument is located in the territory of the municipality of Chodská Lhota. It is an area of national importance where particularly protected plant and animal species occur, including prasetník lysý.

Paved paths provide access to the surroundings of Chodská Lhota, including for family walks.

Cycling and Hiking

Cycle Route No. 2051 leads from Hluboká via Road III/1923 through the center of Chodská Lhota to Orlovice.

A marked hiking trail leads from Chodská Lhota via Štefle through deep forests toward Orlovice.

Marked Hiking Trail No. 1 (0225) is 31.5 km long and runs between Nová Ves and Štefle via Chodská Lhota.

Transport

Four bus stops essentially cover the built-up areas of Chodská Lhota and its associated settlements within the usual walking distances.
