The present Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Hradešice is a late Baroque building dating from 1772. It has been documented as a parish church since 1360; remnants of Gothic frescoes have been preserved on the original vault.
Culture and History
The Chapel of Saint Anthony of Padua in Hradešice is among the religious and pilgrimage sites of the Diocese of České Budějovice. The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk in Hradešice dates from 1882.
At the former U Panušků inn in Hradešice, innkeeper Karel Panuška was the first in Bohemia to introduce the production of Hungarian salami in 1880. In the wider regional surroundings of Hradešice is the ruin of the Radomysl Mediumwave Radio Mast.
