The Alfrédov golf complex covers 78 hectares and is situated in a picturesque landscape with wooded areas and numerous bodies of water. At its center, it is crossed by a centuries-old avenue of linden trees.

History and Architectural Heritage

The history of Alfrédov, which once belonged to Kladruby Monastery, dates back to the 12th century. Alfréd I. Windischgrätz purchased the estate in 1825 and renamed the village of Všetice Alfrédov.

The Alfrédov agricultural estate has a rectangular courtyard, single-storey farm buildings on both sides, and a two-storey residential building dating approximately from the late 18th century. The Alfrédov complex also includes a newly restored chateau, a striking fountain, and a large park area.

Sacred and Aristocratic Heritage

The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk in Nedražice stands on the edge of the settlement and is well maintained. The hexagonal building, covered by a dome with a lantern, has murals inside and was built around 1750.

The Chapel of Saint Wenceslas and Saint Adalbert in Ostrov u Stříbra was built between 1729 and 1756; its tower was added later. A Baroque statue of the Madonna has been preserved at the later-altered gate of the castle in Nedražice. The core of Nedražice Castle probably dates back to a fortress mentioned in the first half of the 14th century.

Golf

The Alfrédov golf course opened to the public on September 2, 2000. Tee times at the Alfrédov golf course can be reserved at the club reception.
