The Muzeum Středních Brd presents a local history exhibition about Strašice and its surroundings from the second half of the 18th century to the 1950s, covering topics including iron processing, local studies, and social life. The Muzeum dopravy in Strašice displays historic means of transport.

The Muzeum Středních Brd Strašice is open during the summer season, from April 1 to September 30, Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; it is closed on Mondays. During the winter season, from October 1 to March 31, it is open on Wednesdays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Church and Regional Symbols

The Kostel sv. Vavřince complex comprises the church, an enclosing wall with a gate, and a memorial cross. Kostel sv. Vavřince is a single-nave brick church with preserved medieval architectural elements, details, and a wall painting dating from around 1400. The present appearance of Kostel sv. Vavřince was created through a Baroque reconstruction.

The Brdská vločka is an unofficial symbol of the entire Brdy Mountains carved into the rock.

Nature and Trails in the Brdy Mountains

Dům přírody Brd is located near Tři Trubky in the Brdy Protected Landscape Area; Tři Trubky lies in the cadastral territory of the municipality of Strašice. Dům přírody Brd offers an interactive exhibition presenting the Brdy Protected Landscape Area as an island of mountainous nature in the heart of Bohemia.

A two-kilometre hiking trail leads from the car park in Strašice along the Klabava River to the Tři Trubky hunting lodge. Hiking and cycling tours through the surrounding Brdy forests can begin in Strašice.

Dům přírody Brd offers guided walks and excursions for the general public, groups, and school programmes.
