Culture and history

The Church of Saint Procopius in Blažim is a Baroque church built between 1778 and 1781. The Blažim fortress is first mentioned in 1390. It has been preserved in the original layout of the eastern part of the former manor and is a powerful, one-story building on a slight elevation in the middle of the village square. A statue of Saint John of Nepomuk stands on the shore of a pond in Blažim.

The ruins of Pravda Castle, Hradek Oltářík, Hrádek, and Sukoslav are located in the wider regional surroundings of Blažim.
