Chlumčany U Loun: Hotels and Accommodation

Chlumčany U Loun is home to the late Baroque Church of Saint Clement. It was built between 1771 and 1774 according to plans by the architect Leopold Vávra and stands on a hill above the valley of the Smolnický potok.

Culture and History

The former cemetery surrounding the Church of Saint Clement preserves several gravestones. The former sugar factory complex in Chlumčany is listed under registration number 42327/5-1147.

Landscape

WILOMENNA grows grapevines on Blšanský Chlum because of its exceptional volcanic subsoil. During a WILOMENNA wine tasting, visitors can tour the production facilities and the Schwarzenberg cellar dating from the 18th century.
