Malíč: Hotels and Accommodation

Above Malíč lie the Bílé stráně, a nature reserve of European significance formed by water erosion in Mesozoic sedimentary deposits. Together with other traces of the landscape and culture, they give the area a clearly recognisable character.

Nature

The Bílé stráně near Malíč have been part of the Natura 2000 network since 2005. They are also notable for the occurrence of the Bohemian rowan and the Elbe rowan.

Southwest of Knobloška rise the basalt hills of Tři kopce. From there, long-distance views extend towards Milešovka, Lovoš, Strážiště, Hazmburk, Kamýk and other hills.

Wine

During the event “Wandering through the vineyards of Velké Žernosky and Žalhostice”, visitors can taste wines between the rows of vines. At the event on 27 June 2026, the vineyards of Velké Žernosky, Žalhostice, Michalovice and Malíč are among the stops. The Malíč winery is also one of the participating wineries.

Routes

The Skřítek Portáš educational trail passes through 10 municipalities and has 16 stops, providing information about nature and regional history. Cycle route no. 3058 continues towards the municipality of Michalovice and leads to the next stop on the educational trail. Cycle route 3058 passes through Knobloška, a district of Malíč.

History

Malíč was first mentioned in 1276 in connection with the nobleman Bojslav of Malíč. A record from 1413 names Malíč as the property of Křišťan of Vinná and Žernoseky. In the mid-15th century, part of Malíč, together with Miřejovice and Hlinná, belonged to the estate of the Kamýk castle complex.

A granary is recorded in house no. 7 in Malíč.
