Nová Ves V Horách: Hotels and Accommodation

The Nová Ves Museum displays preserved exhibits depicting life in the houses of the village, as well as a school from earlier times. The museum’s collection includes wooden toys, whose local production began in the second half of the 18th century.

Culture and History

The late Baroque Church of St. Michael the Archangel, together with the adjoining rectory dating from the second half of the 18th century, is an important cultural monument in Nová Ves v Horách. The church building was reconstructed between 1780 and 1784 and consecrated on September 19, 1784.

The educational trail “Two Countries – One Region” comprises 22 stations, more than 30 information panels, and more than 20 play and knowledge elements; it is classified as moderately difficult.

In the Lesná section of the route between Lesná and Český Jiřetín are the Krušnohorský lidový dům folk museum and the Chapel of St. Anthony.
