Culture and Townscape

The townscape of Pnětluky is defined by St. Matthew's Church and the adjacent former hop kiln. The church is protected as a cultural monument and has a uniform Rococo interior, which is associated with a Rococo reconstruction of the church. The bell tower of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church in Pnětluky was designed by local architect Václav Zralý in 1940.

Trails and Landscape

The 3.5 km-long U Petra a Pavla forest educational trail runs along the wooded slope of the Výrov table mountain in Džbán Nature Park and can be visited year-round.

Historical Traces

The Pravda castle ruins (Zřícenina Pravda) are located in the vicinity of Pnětluky, on a wooded spur above the village in Džbán Nature Park. Marked hiking trails lead to the castle ruins from the surrounding villages; the castle is freely accessible. A rampart and remains of artillery positions have been preserved at the castle ruins.

A Schwarzenberg boundary stone dating from 1701 has been preserved on the slope of Výrov below a trail marked in yellow.

Surroundings

The named hill Červený vrch [Pnětluky-Konětopy] is located in the vicinity of Pnětluky. The surrounding area also includes Džbán Mountain, Loustín Mountain, and the U Svatého Gotharda Church. In the wider regional area are the Pozdeňský les [Mšec] upland and the Svatý Prokop monument.
