History and village square
The former small château of Zdeňkov was completely demolished in 1817. Zdeňkov farm courtyard was rebuilt between 1816 and 1818 after a fire on the night of 28–29 April 1816.
The freestanding chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, built in the 19th century in the peasant Baroque style, is located in the village square. It was preserved for local worship after professional restoration; permission to celebrate Mass was reinstated in 1834. The present-day statue of Saint Procopius also stands in the village square. It dates from 2013 and replaced an earlier statue that was destroyed in the 1980s.

The Otvrňský potok flows through the hamlet of Otvrň and the Pod Otvrní pond. U Obrázku Hill is located in the vicinity of Zdeňkov. The Hory, Rudný and Srnčí vrch hills are located around Zdeňkov.
