Trails

In the Lhotské paseky area, the Ovocná ekostezka connects to the “Tesák” educational trail. It runs along the ridge of scenic Wallachian hills and offers views of the valleys and green, forested slopes. There are three rest areas with mini playgrounds along the route. The information panels cover the history of fruit growing, organic fruit growing, and organic food.

Several signposted routes are available for cycling trips: Cycling Route 46 leads over less demanding terrain to Liptál and on to Vsetín. Cycling Route 6121 runs via Horní Potoky and Nivy into the Janišov Valley, while Cycling Route 6117 leads to Vizovice. The “Kolem pramene Rokytenky” route begins and ends in Lhota u Vsetína, as does the “Vyhlídka z Kapky” route.

Culture and History

In the 19th and early 20th centuries, the domestic production of shingles, pocket knives, whetstones, glass beads, and wickerwork was widespread in Lhota u Vsetína. The Josef Barna Memorial commemorates a fallen soldier of the 1st Czechoslovak Army Corps. The memorial to the victims of the Second World War is a monument of local significance in Lhota u Vsetína and is not protected.
