The Andrej Kmeť educational trail is a short, self-guided circular hiking trail that can be used in summer and winter. It is 4.9 km long and has an elevation difference of 44 m. The trail begins at the Vyhniansky travertín natural monument near the outdoor swimming pool and volleyball courts and ends at the SAD ZŤS Vyhne bus stop.

The Vyhne pump track consists of artificially created terrain waves and banked curves for practising riding over such obstacles. It is located near Hotel Sitno and the football pitch; anyone who would like to ride there is welcome.

Thermal Water and Sports

The multi-purpose pool at Vodný raj Vyhne is supplied with natural thermal water. At the source, its temperature is 36.5 to 37 °C. The water area also includes an outdoor pool open all year round with hydromassage benches, so-called pearl baths, a counter-current system and a jacuzzi; the water temperature is 36 °C.

Vodný raj Vyhne also has tennis, volleyball and squash courts, as well as bowling and mini golf. In addition to the water facilities, you will therefore also find various sports and leisure areas there.

Local History and Culture

The Roman Catholic Baroque Church of St Michael in Vyhne dates from 1776. The spa chapel of Our Lady Queen, which once served spa guests, is located directly above Vodný raj Vyhne.

Another historical trace is conveyed by the circular trail “Two Hours through the Mining Works” in Vyhne. Its ten stations focus on the history of mining and the effects of mining.
