The ruins of Teplica Castle can be reached from Sklené Teplice via a yellow-marked trail. After a steeper ascent, it joins a green-marked trail that leads to the castle. The hiking route is 4.7 km long, takes approximately two hours, and is of medium difficulty.

Further Activities

Vodný raj Vyhne is a thermal spa in the Žiar nad Hronom District that is open year-round. It uses therapeutic thermal water with a high iron content and a temperature of up to 36.5 °C. Facilities include a swimming pool, a multi-purpose pool, a children's pool, a relaxation pool, and a water slide.

Geographical Location

The Bratislava–Zvolen railway line runs through Žiar nad Hronom.

The Pohronská hradná cesta runs along the Hron River from Hronský Beňadik to Zvolen.
