Hotels in Kotmanová: Pohanský hrad and Kotmanovské vodopády
Kotmanová can be explored through different themes: cultural history, nature, and the practical details of trails and transport connections all come together here.
Culture
The bell tower in Kotmanová dates from the early 19th century. It was built on the site of an earlier wooden bell tower. The small bell in the tower was cast in Budapest in 1888, while the large bell was cast in Brno in 1923. The two years therefore belong to different chapters in the history of this building.
The village is also home to a Neoclassical manor house from the late 18th century. Pohanský hrad provides a significantly older point of reference: the site is a fortified settlement of the Kyjatice culture with several ramparts dating from 1100 to 700 BC. During the Bronze Age, Pohanský hrad served as a refuge for the people of the Kyjatice culture.
Nature
Kotmanovské vodopády are cascades on the Vrbinský stream below Pohanský hrad. A tour leading exclusively to Kotmanovské vodopády can be completed from the edge of Kotmanová in 3 to 5 hours.
The route to the cascades initially follows a red-marked hiking trail and then continues along the stream. The rest of the route leads directly along the stream; it is also necessary to climb along the slopes beside the cascades, including crossing fallen tree trunks.
As an option for less experienced hikers, a forest track running parallel to the stream is recommended. It leads along the foot of Pohanský hrad.

Such a comparison makes differences between the offers visible without implying features that have not been stated. Also make sure that the number of people and the desired period are taken into account in the conditions shown. For each hotel offer, you can also check the exact location entered and the type of accommodation specified. The occupancy for the planned number of people, included services, and individual price components are also relevant. Before completing your booking, also read the payment, change, and cancellation conditions in the respective offer view. The information should refer to the same travel period and the same number of people so that the displayed conditions remain genuinely comparable. This keeps the decision focused on the specific offer fields. If several rate options are available, you should check differences in services and conditions directly side by side. Also pay attention to payment deadlines, refund policies, and additional costs. The decisive information remains that displayed for the selected period and the intended occupancy.
