Husiná, the church and the parish are first mentioned in 1332. The oldest known seal of Husiná dates from 1758. It depicts a ploughshare shown vertically with its point facing downward. A plough also appears in the coat of arms of Husiná: on a silver shield, a silver goose with a golden beak and golden feet rests on a black plough.

The Classicist kúria in Husiná dates from the early 19th century. The Kostol Navštívenia Panny Márie Church in Husiná was built in the Classicist style in 1787, restored after 1890 and extended in 1922. It is located on the northeastern edge of Husiná, almost outside the municipality, on a slight elevation.

The Gemerské múzeum in Rimavská Sobota exhibits a Late Romanesque sword from Husiná in its department of edged weapons. In addition, the landscape around Husiná inspired the later works of an artist mentioned there.

Hiking

The Husiná–Konrádovce hiking trail leads from Husiná via Nad Čentou and Vadkert to Konrádovce. After 3.5 km, this hiking trail crosses Cesta Márie Széchy. The KST manages the trail under route number 8490.
