Senec: Hotels and accommodations
The Slnečné jazerá lakes have a water surface of almost 120 hectares. They offer sunbathing lawns with gently sloping access to the water, as well as opportunities for swimming, water sports, boating and fishing. A rental service for pedal boats and paddleboards complements the range of activities.

At Aquapark Senec, the Play Pool, Bubble Pool, Swimming Pool, Sunshine Pool and Relax Pool are open year-round. Aquapark Senec also operates the covered HrošĂk-Paula play area, which is open year-round.

In summer, the tourist train Senec Express connects the Slnečné jazerá lakes with Senec city center. It travels around the lakes for approximately 7.3 kilometers; the journey starts and ends on Senec's main square.
Culture and history
TureckĂ˝ dom is a Renaissance manor house built in the mid-16th century. The grounds of the Church of Saint Nicholas include Stations of the Cross, a Calvary group dating from 1934 and a Lourdes grotto.
The Marian, or plague, column in front of the Esterházy Palace in Senec was erected in 1747 in memory of the victims of a plague epidemic. The present form of the Senec synagogue was created through a renovation in 1904 in the Art Nouveau style with oriental elements. The synagogue is a defining building in the city center.
The Chapel of the Holy Trinity stands on the main road from Senec city center to the lakes and was built in 1860 in the Classical style.
Nature
MartinskĂ˝ les comprises oak stands that have survived in only a few places in Europe and is part of the Natura 2000 network.
Orientation
The Park & Ride parking garage in Senec can be used by travelers, city visitors and visitors to the Slnečné jazerá lakes. It is located near the railway station, regional bus stops, a Bike & Ride station and a stop for the free city bus. The nearest stop to Aquapark Senec is on Štefánikova Street; from there, it is about a five-minute walk.
The Senec Tourist Information Center provides recommendations for excursions and sights in the surrounding area, as well as information about activities and events.
Events
At the end of May, Senec hosts a goulash-cooking competition on the southern side of the Slnečné jazerá lakes. At Senec's apple festival, “Jablkové hodovanie,” visitors can sample apple-based dishes.
