Bíňa's highlights include nature along the Hron, the history of its fortifications and sacred culture.
Nature
The Hron River and the adjacent floodplain forests in Bíňa are part of the Natura 2000 site of European importance SKUEV0820 Dolný tok Hrona. The Bíňanský Loess Profile lies on the banks of the Hron. The protected natural monument is 5 to 10 metres high and is considered a rare feature in the Hron basin.
Bíňanský rybník is designated as a nature reserve. The protection category serves to protect fauna, flora, habitats and landscapes.
Culture and history
Remains of the fortifications are visible on the northern edge of Bíňa. The village is also home to the ruins of a monastery built in the 12th century, which was destroyed by the Turks.
The two-towered Roman Catholic Church of Mary in Bíňa was built before 1217. It preserves Romanesque and early Gothic elements described as being of European importance. The church was part of a Premonstratensian monastery. Bíňa's cultural features also include the unique folk costumes and cultural traditions of the “villages with short skirts”.
The Chapel of the Twelve Apostles was originally a Romanesque rotunda with wall paintings from the early 12th century; after 1755, it was renovated in the Baroque style. The Rotunda of the Twelve Apostles contains rare wall paintings from the early 13th century depicting a group of apostles. Twelve semicircular interior niches symbolise the twelve apostles. The rotunda also features unique Romanesque, Byzantine-influenced frescoes.
Pilgrimage sites
Studnička (Kutacska) is a pilgrimage spring in the cadastral territory of Bíňa. The Calvary of Bíňa stands north of the village in the former ditch between two rings of the outer earthwork of the medieval fortifications.
The architectural complex of the Calvary of Bíňa is in good condition and serves its purpose.

Accommodation
When comparing accommodation in Bíňa, you should not consider the individual offers based on price alone. The services included are equally important: what matters is whether they are included in the total price or listed separately. Different rules may also apply to taxes, fees or other costs among the various price components; the specific conditions stated in each case are decisive. Before booking, it is worth checking the applicable booking and cancellation conditions, as well as the period for which the offer is valid. Comparing several hotels or other accommodations in Bíňa allows you to review these details in the same order and assess the differences objectively. This creates a clear comparison without jumping to conclusions about the overall scope of services based on individual price points. Occupancy should also match the intended travel dates and the number of people booked.
