Mlyňany Arboretum was founded in 1892 by Dr. Štefan Ambrózy-Migazzi. Its collection comprises more than 2,300 species of exotic evergreen woody plants. Visitors can choose from five educational trails leading through five dendrological exhibitions. The trail in Ambrózyho Semper-Vireo Park takes about 60 minutes on foot. Culture

The Roman Catholic Church of Saint George in Vieska nad Žitavou is a Classicist building dating from 1802. Beneath the church is a crypt with an altar and, below it, a permanently arranged Holy Sepulchre. The church also contains a Baroque portrait of Archbishop Selepčéniho.

Mlyňany Arboretum includes the Kaštieľ manor house. It was designed in the Neoclassical style and built in 1895 under the direction of the master builder Guttmann. Vieska nad Žitavou is also home to the reconstructed farmhouse “Dvor ľudových remesiel”. It presents the life of a traditional farming family and contains historic furnishings.
