Culture and History
The leaning bell tower of Vrbové is presented as a landmark and is one reason why Vrbové is known as the “Slovak Pisa”. The Vrbové synagogue was built in the Moorish style in 1882–1883.
Dom umenia Piešťany has been a national cultural monument since 2022 and is one of the main co-organisers of the international Piešťany Festival, which has taken place annually during the summer months since 1955.
