Koleč: Hotels and Accommodation

In Koleč, the Muzeum včelařství has been open to the public since July 31, 2016, in a reconstructed wing of Zámek Koleč. It is located in the west wing of Zámek Koleč. As early as 1879, the Švarc family founded a factory for beehives and beekeeping supplies directly in Koleč.

Culture

The Kostel Nejsvětější Trojice was built onto the south wing of Zámek Koleč between 1711 and 1713. The castle church hosts, among other events, the Medová pouť, concerts, and midnight Masses. Approximately two-thirds of the historical music collection associated with the Kostel Nejsvětější Trojice consists of handwritten music sources dating from the second half of the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th century.

In Týnec u Kolče, the Boží muka stand to the right of the road leading from Zákolany via Mozolín to Týnec. They are a three-tiered wayside shrine with shallow niches containing images of saints painted on sheet metal. The Boží muka in Týnec u Kolče were restored in 2009 as a cultural monument at a cost of CZK 254,000.

Nature

The area around Studánka Svatého Václava is heavily waterlogged; rubber boots are required to access it.
