Nature
The Podlešín linden is a small-leaved lime tree in Podlešín and was declared a memorial tree on July 25, 1978. Its trunk circumference was recorded as 420 centimeters on September 9, 2020.
The Podlešín rock needle is an approximately 8-meter-high, isolated, distinctly column-shaped rock outcrop made of arkose sandstones to conglomerates of the Slaný Formation. It can be reached from Podlešín or Želenice via field paths; after rain, the access paths can be very muddy. Along the path to this rock outcrop, closed sandstone tunnels can be seen, from which sandstone was extracted for the construction of the viaduct.

Cycling path and orientation
The first stage of the local cycling path in Podlešín was built on an old railway embankment in the direction of Zvoleněves. Along the entire length from Podlešín, the old railway embankment can be traveled by bicycle as far as beneath the viaduct. The completed section begins at the wastewater treatment plant and is connected to the cycling path leading there.
There is no passenger check-in at Podlešín railway station; this is carried out on the train.
