History and culture

The Chapel of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist in Výrava was built in 1906–1907 on the site of an older chapel. The Chapel of the Virgin Mary stands in the upper part of Výrava, in the direction of Jílovice, above a spring, and was built in 1868.

At Výrava 104, next to the municipal office in the village centre, stands the monument to the victims of the First and Second World Wars. It was ceremonially unveiled on 28 October 1948.

Events

Since 1998, Letní Parket Výrava has hosted concerts featuring Czech and international performers. For all events, Letní Parket Výrava offers free bus transport to and from the event.

Nature

The hills of Vidrholec [Černilov], Křivý kopec [Černilov], (Velký kopec) [Jeníkovice u Hradce Králové] and Lhotecký kopec [Králova Lhota u Českého Meziříčí] are located in the vicinity of Výrava.

The V ráji biocentre was established in 1997 on the Malostranský potok (Číbr) in the cadastral area of the municipality of Výrava. It serves as an oasis for wildlife and is a place for walks.

The U Vrbiček biocentre, also called Ve Vrbičkách, was created in 1996 according to a plan by Ing. Pavel Trávníček on the Libníkovický potok. The pond located there is sometimes called Vrbičky and covers 1.9588 hectares.
