Culture and history

The Church of St. Peter and Paul is a single-nave Baroque building erected by the Jesuits around 1721 on the foundations of an earlier Gothic building. It was restored in 1900 and 1901 with wall paintings by J. Podlipný and features a Baroque oratory on the upper floor.

The fortress in Nemyčeves already existed in 1392. From the fortifications in Nemyčeves, a small part of the central area and raised terrain beneath Blockhouse No. 100 and in its garden have been preserved. In the wider regional area around Nemyčeves is Valdštejn, a church.
