History

The hillfort site of Lomec has an oval shape and measures 20 × 24 meters. No wall remains have been preserved at the hillfort site. It lies on the southeastern edge of a currently drained pond. Lomec is first mentioned in 1358.

Transport and orientation

Lomec and Novákovice are served exclusively by bus connections; these stop at the shared stop “Lomec, Novákovice, rozc. 0.4”.

Anyone continuing along the local road in the direction of Luby can see Klatovy in the valley to the left of the road in good weather.
