Culture and History

The preserved castle complex in Ujčín includes a wing, an arcaded courtyard, Renaissance vaults, and an octagonal, two-story tower. The castle in Ujčín was converted into an estate farm at the beginning of the 19th century. It is permanently inhabited and not open to the public.

The Chapel of Saint Wenceslas in Ujčín was built in the second half of the 19th century. It has a rectangular floor plan with a three-sided termination on the west side and stands between roads on a lawn in the northwestern part of Ujčín.

The water mill in Ujčín, known as Flossmanův, dates from the first half of the 19th century. Its residential building has a historicist gable dating from 1888. The water mill stands on the Ostružná.
