Nezdice Na Sumave: Hotels and Accommodation

Nezdice na Å umavÄ› lies in a valley between the wooded mountains of JavornÃk, Ždánov and Sedlo. The Hipostezka horse trail runs through the cadastral area.
Culture
A chapel dating from 1898 stands in the village square. It was originally dedicated to the Virgin Mary and later to Saint Anthony; its bell dates from 1728. Opposite the municipal office is a residential building constructed in the traditional granary style, which is listed as a cultural monument.
The Muzeum řemeslné výroby Nezdice na Šumavě is a historical museum dedicated to traditional crafts and life in the Bohemian Forest. The museum includes a functional, reconstructed bread oven.
The Information Centre and Museum of Craft Production is open annually during the summer holidays from 1 July to 31 August, Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; it is closed on Mondays.
Surroundings
The Ski areál Nezdice ski resort is located approximately 500 metres from the village centre and has three slopes of easy to intermediate difficulty.
In the neighbouring municipality, StraÅ¡Ãnská jeskynÄ› can be visited by prior arrangement with the municipal office in StraÅ¡Ãn or the information centre in Nezdice. On the Czech side, Nezdice na Å umavÄ› is listed as one of the places associated with the Lamberská stezka Jana Filipa Lamberga.
