History and Culture
The Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Zadní Chodov was declared a cultural monument on January 22, 2024. Old mines are mentioned in the vicinity of Zadní Chodov for the year 1606; silver ore was presumably mined there. A pilgrimage takes place in Zadní Chodov during the year, among other events. Nature and Landscape
The Chodovská lípa stands on the road to Chodský Újezd in the valley of the Hamerský potok. An approximately 200-year-old small-leaved lime tree has a two-trunked stem with a circumference of 450 cm and a 23 m-high crown; it has been protected as a landscape-defining feature since 1981. The mountains of Pfaffenbühl, Podhorni vrch, and Lysina are located in the vicinity of Zadní Chodov. The mountain of Streicher Rang lies in the wider regional surroundings of Zadní Chodov.
Getting Around
The marked cycle route 2201 passes through Zadní Chodov and follows an 18-kilometer route from Žďár via Trstěnice and Cech to Panská rozhledna. There is a regular bus connection in Zadní Chodov. Facilities in Zadní Chodov include a grocery store.
