Radostice: Hotels and Accommodation

The Church of St. Simon and Jude was founded in 1333 by the brothers Mikuláš and Petr from Radostice. A commemorative plaque set into the church wall records its foundation. A Gothic chancel dating from 1366 has been preserved; the present Baroque nave was built during the 1722 reconstruction, and the church was restored again in 1850. St. Simon and Jude is a branch church of the Ořechov parish, where services are regularly held on Wednesdays.

The local events calendar also draws on traditional forms. Babské hody took place in Radostice in 2023 and were scheduled again for 8 June 2024. Mladé hody were revived in Radostice in 2023. The recently re-established Masopust tradition includes a masked procession and traditional Ostatky, accompanied by live music. Traditional Masopust foods include zabijačka and trubičky.

Radostická nerezová desítka is a recurring local running competition, with Sokol Radostice involved in its organisation.

Bobrava Nature Park is a generally protected area covering 30.90 km². It was designated on 1 January 1982 in the Brno-venkov District and extends across wooded areas between the municipalities of Ořechov, Střelice, Omice, Popůvky, Tetčice, Troubsko, Neslovice, Hlína, Silůvky, Prštice and Radostice.

Several hiking and cycling trails pass through Bobrava Nature Park, including the circuit through Bobrava Nature Park. At Radostický mlýn, a blue-marked hiking trail runs through the Bobrava Valley from Střelice to Želešice; the Přírodním parkem Bobrava cycling route also runs there. After Radostický mlýn, the Přírodním parkem Bobrava educational cycling route reaches the outskirts of Radostice and continues upstream along the Bobrava Valley.

At the Radostice–railway halt tourist signpost, a red-marked hiking trail continues via the Kopaniny signpost to Ivančice.

The landscape around Radostice is characterised by the meandering Bobrava River, meadows, wetlands and varied riverside vegetation. There are also several old mills and a stone bridge.
