Brodec: Hotels and accommodations

The southern part of the municipality of Brodec belongs to Džbán Nature Park. Several buildings in Brodec are used for recreation and short-term stays.

History and culture

Until around the middle of the 17th century, the settlement was divided into the Brodec manor and the village of Nevězenice, located southwest of it on the right bank of the Klášterský stream.

Brodec Fortress was first mentioned in 1373. The historic Brodec estate included a mill, a sheepfold, a brewery, and a game preserve.

Near the village square in Brodec stands a memorial to those who fell in the First World War. Cultural and social events were held annually in Brodec.
