Routes

Cycling Route 5125 passes through Vystrčenovice, connects Telč with Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou and is 39 kilometres long. The local hiking and cycling routes are connected to a dense network of other paths and routes. Tourism in Vystrčenovice is primarily focused on cycling tourism. The low traffic volume makes the area around Vystrčenovice well suited to cycling tourism, including on Class II and Class III roads.

Nature

The municipality contains the Nová Říše Nature Monument, designated as a Natura 2000 site. The bodies of water listed within the municipality of Vystrčenovice include Brázdův Pond. The registered significant landscape feature Zadní díly u Bezkoutí is also located there.

Culture and History

A secluded Chapel of the Holy Cross stands within the municipality of Vystrčenovice. It was founded in 1708 by Leypold, the provost of the Premonstratensian canonry in Nová Říše. There was a hermitage at the chapel in 1728; it was extensively reconstructed in 2003 and 2004.

A wayside shrine is recorded in Vystrčenovice as the only designated cultural monument; its ÚSKP registration number is 34186/7-5431. About 100 metres east of Vystrčenovice, a brick Baroque wayside shrine dating from 1773 stands in a wooded area. The municipality erected the 1773 wayside shrine in memory of those who died in the war. A cast-iron cross with a stone pedestal is also among the noteworthy small monuments in Vystrčenovice.

Historically, Vystrčenovice was affiliated with Nová Říše in ecclesiastical and educational matters and has always belonged to its monastery. In 1696, Vystrčenovice was destroyed by fire. The Brázdův Mill near Vystrčenovice was founded around 1700 by the Premonstratensian monastery in Nová Říše. After the mill was no longer used for milling in the 1940s, it later served as a sawmill. It is currently used for residential purposes and is not open to the public.
