Nitrianske Sučany between the Church, Nature Trail and Natural Monument

Culture
The Baroque Church of Saints Philip and James in Nitrianske Sučany was built in 1737. Its baptismal font was made of marble quarried in the municipality. The church is listed under ÚZPF number 852/1-5. Another sacred landmark is the Chapel of the Seven Sorrows of Mary, built at the end of the 18th or beginning of the 19th century.
The memory of František Madva is also present at specific places in the village. A commemorative plaque at the house where he lived remembers him. His grave with a gravestone in Nitrianske Sučany is listed under ÚZPF number 11382.

Historically, saffron and hemp trading, as well as local wine production, were widespread in Nitrianske Sučany. The Brložná diera Cave is designated as a natural monument in the cadastral area of Nitrianske Sučany. The publicly accessible cave lies on the southern slope of Malý Rokoš in the Strážovské vrchy mountains. Visitor access to the cave is scheduled from 1 May to 31 October.
