Zábrodí: Hotels and Accommodation

Brodský Pond lies within the cadastral area of Zábrodí and covers just under 16 hectares. The recreational area around the pond includes a small rope center, a fairytale trail with wooden sculptures, and a children’s playground.

Nature and Landscape

There are forests in the vicinity of Zábrodí. Relatively flat agricultural land stretches east of the village; from there, the view extends across the border to Kłodzko. Looking south from Zábrodí, there is a view of Náchod Castle and Mount Dobrošov.

A yellow-marked hiking trail also begins at the campsite by Brodský Pond and leads toward the valley of the Úpa.

Hiking and Cycling

A blue-marked hiking trail from Zábrodí and Horní Rybníky runs through the valley of the Špinka stream into the Úpa valley. For cycling, KČT Cycle Route 4095 connects Zábrodí with Červený Kostelec, Kramolna, and Náchod.

History and Culture

In 1582, Zábrodí became part of the Náchod estate. The Holy Trinity group and the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk were restored in the village. The memorial to the fallen heroes in Zábrodí was unveiled on August 17, 1924.
