Myslovice: Hotels and Accommodation

Myslovice lies in a valley surrounded by wooded hills. The village combines a small-scale cultural landscape with traces of history and notable points of interest in the surrounding area.

Culture and History

The Chapel of Saint Mary Magdalene was built at the beginning of the 19th century. It stands in the village square on the main road and is classified as a cultural monument. There are also five crosses in the municipality of Myslovice: four made of cast iron on stone pedestals and one made of wood featuring a depiction of Jesus Christ.

Myslovice is still home to the chimney of a former brickyard. It symbolically recalls the local production of high-quality bricks, which were produced there primarily by the Kámenova family under the rule of Obytce.

Nature and Landscape

Zahrada u malíře is temporarily closed to public visits in 2026; parts of the garden are still being reconstructed. It is the first and so far only certified natural garden in the Klatovy area; there are four such gardens in the Plzeňský kraj region. Zahrada u malíře is managed without chemical agents, artificial fertilisers or peat.

The mountains of Buzrakov (Plánický hřeben), Úliště [Javor - Loučany] and Běleč are located in the vicinity of Myslovice. The hill of Kostřáb (Plánický hřeben) is located close to Myslovice.
