Hotels in Lednické Rovne: Historic Park and Glass Museum
Lednické Rovne combines a historic landscaped park with buildings and a glassmaking history dating back to the 19th century. The Lednické Rovne Historic Park was created at the end of the 18th century by Count Johann Gobert Aspremont-Linden. It covers 18.5 hectares and has a natural landscape character. The park and its individual buildings are designated as a national cultural monument of Slovakia. Admission to the Historic Park is free all year round.
Culture and Landscape
The combination of the park grounds and historic buildings is also reflected in the history of the Kaštieľ manor house. It is the oldest monument in Lednické Rovne; its history dates back to the second half of the 16th century. It was probably built in the Renaissance style by Štefan Telekessy, the owner of the Lednica estate. The Slovak Glass Museum Lednické Rovne follows another historical thread. Its permanent exhibition presents the history of glass production at the glassworks in Lednické Rovne, from its founding in 1892 to the present day. Renaissance history and industrial glassmaking tradition thus exist side by side in Lednické Rovne, without the individual sites losing their own historical context.
Spiritual Sites
One of the oldest architectural monuments in Lednické Rovne is the Chapel of Saint Anne. It stands on a steep rock rising from the Sedlačky forest area in the northwestern part of Lednické Rovne. Since a small chapel was built on the rock in 1718, visits to the chapel have been part of visits to the spring. The Chapel of Saint Anne is in good condition and continues to serve its purpose.
Music and Events
Another cultural feature of the town is the Lednické Rovne competition. It has been held since 1971 and is a nationwide selection competition and showcase for small wind orchestras. The competition takes the form of a public performance and is intended for small wind orchestras with up to 18 members, including the conductor and presenter. There is no age restriction.
When reviewing offers for a hotel in Lednické Rovne, you can initially compare the listings according to the features that are important to you. On the respective offer page, the exact location, type of accommodation, occupancy and included services should be clearly identifiable. It is also worth looking at the individual price components so that the total amount does not appear only as an aggregated figure. In addition, check the booking and cancellation conditions, as well as any discrepancies between the stated price and the services actually included. You can then compare the offers according to your own priorities, such as price range, occupancy or flexibility of the conditions. Considering several options provides a clearer basis for comparison without mixing location information with specific offer details. The information on the respective offer page remains binding.
